0.030 or 0.035 tips - which do I stock?
Match the tip to your wire: 0.030 in for sheet metal and auto body, 0.035 in for 1/8 in and heavier. If you run both wires, stock both tips - they cost pennies and fail at the worst time.
Why does my wire keep bird-nesting at the tip?
Usually a worn contact tip, wrong tip size for the wire, or drive roll tension too high. Replace the tip first - it is the cheapest fix - then check the liner for debris.
